How do I order my Repeat Prescription?
Patients on long-term medication can order repeat prescriptions in a number of ways:
- Online – Using our prescription requests triage
- Using our online services – Patient Access
- In person
- By post – please provide us with a self addressed envelope
The online service is purely for repeat items and you will not be able to request one off prescription items.
To reduce errors we do not accept repeat prescriptions over the telephone. Please also note that we require 2 working days notice for a repeat prescription.
Local chemists offer a free delivery and collection service. Please complete our Register for Electronic Prescription Service form if you wish to register for the service.
Everyone on repeat medication needs to see their doctor at least once a year. On the white half of your prescription is your personal review date. You will need to make an appointment with the doctor before that date.
If you have been advised by the surgery that your medication review is due, please complete our online Medication Review form.
View the cost of prescriptions on the NHS website.
